Here is a great early war untouched example of a feld polizei (combat police) M35 helmet in an XL bucket sized 68 referring to the outer edge circumference in centimeters. The outside paint is a smooth factory finish in dark pea green with textbook NS eagle and political shield decals both very well preserved beneath the lacquer finish that was applied over them at the time of issue. The inside liner system is re-enforced aluminum square bale system and is dated 1938. The liner has never been removed from it's original shell or tampered with in any way. As with a lot of M35 NS police helmets this one has a great dome stamp clearly visible. The helmet has a great been there done that patina to it and is a real one looker in terms of authenticity. A great find out of Ohio!!
